Confirm child-seat requirements before travel
Do not assume every chauffeured vehicle carries every type of child restraint. Tell the operator the child’s age, approximate size and the number of seats required. If bringing your own seat, confirm there is enough cargo space for it when not in use.
Strollers are part of the luggage calculation
A family of four can quickly fill a sedan when large suitcases, carry-ons and a stroller are included. An SUV may be a better fit even when the passenger count itself would fit in a sedan.
Allow extra arrival time
Families may take longer to move through baggage claim and arrange children after a flight. Use realistic pickup timing and keep the driver updated if baggage or customs takes longer than expected.
